Eye-Catching Appaloosa mare - 5yo, Approx 15hhLucy is a striking Chestnut and white Appaloosa mare with plenty of presence and eye appeal. She is a lovely girl who was originally purchased as a project with the intention of becoming my daughter's future mount. Circumstances have since changed after unexpectedly finding a more suitable horse, so Lucy is now offered for sale.She is sweet natured and kind, has been broken in and has extensive groundwork, though only limited ridden work to date.Though Lucy is patient to mount and more woah than go under saddle (she has great breaks) she can be sensitive and nervous with the bridle, so she will be best suited to an experienced, confident and patient handler who enjoys bringing along young horses at their own pace.Lucy is a good doer, currently barefoot and is happiest when paddocked with other horses. With her lovely temperament, eye catching colour and presence she would also be a beautiful addition to a breeding program.In the right hands Lucy will be a rewarding horse to own and love.
