Gidget is a sweet hearted 7yo, approximately 16.1hh chestnut mare that only raced twice as she was too slow. She has not been ridden since the track (that I know of) and I have only had her for a year. She has however responded well to lunging and being saddled (no buck etc), I just haven’t had the time to retrain her. She is great to catch, worm, trim, wash etc just has some separation anxiety in new places (as expected from an ex-racehorse with no new training), however has developed some nice ground manners which has shown signs of a trainable attitude. She is a very sweet girl that deserves a loving home. So therefore, Gidget requires an experienced rider, who is looking for a project horse.
She is due for her teeth which has been taken off the price. $650 Negotiable to a loving home only.
