Mr Pickles

Unfortunately we have decided to make the right decision by Mr Pickles and sell him on. He is a stunning black and white pinto Shetland. We purchased him with the intention of being a child’s riding pony but they have shown no interest in the pony and we want more for him than to be merely a companion and lawn mower. Mr Pickles was purchased from the Pakenham market 2 years ago. He is somewhere between 6-8 years old, he is regularly wormed and has his feet done. He doesn’t need rugs but we do have a winter rug for him. He stands at roughly 9hh. Mr P has a beautiful loving, kind and affectionate nature. He loves children, being groomed and pampered. Mr Pickles is prone to foundering and has been treated by vets for this. He is currently coming out of foundering so is touchy on his feet and has been having his hooves trimmed every four weeks. So if he is the type of pony you want you need to really consider this before purchasing him. Mr Pickles will be sold with the following: - A Shetland bridle - A Shetland saddle pad - Girth - Le Mieux saddle blanket and ear bonnet (as shown in the photos) - A brand new winter rug - A large bucket of founder guard We are looking for the right home for this wonderful and loved pony. The ideal home would be one where he is; - A child’s gift - Regularly cared for - Has a founder management plan in place - Will stay for a few years - Will not return to the market (we would prefer to be contacted before this occurs)
