Riders Saddle Up For Patrol
The City of Casey is getting back in the saddle to host its 22nd Riding of the Bounds on 1 May.
Horse riders will gather to honour a tradition begun in Casey's sister city, Berwick Upon Tweed in the UK, more than 500 years ago. At the conclusion of the ride, there will be a barbecue lunch and an awards ceremony. The Riding of the Bounds will start at Akoonah Park, Berwick, with registrations from 8am. The ride will commence at 10 am. Early bird registration fees are $5 for Individuals, $15 for families $40 for groups, minimum of 10 riders.
