Large Animal Rescue Awareness Course QLD
The Cedar Grove and District Riding Club in conjunction with the Qld Horse Council is holding a LAR Awareness Course on the 13th October.
In surveys asking whether owners would risk their lives to rescue their horses up to 85% responded YES! Are you a large animal veterinarian, police officer, Biosecurity inspector, Fire and Rescue worker, SES volunteer, RSPCA officer, Racing Queensland steward, horse owner? Would you know how to react if placed in one of the situations pictured? Learn to do it safely and do it right! The Cedar Grove and District Riding Club in conjunction with the Qld Horse Council is holding a LAR Awareness Course on the 13th October 9am to 3pm at Cedar Grove and District Riding Club, located at 30 Irwin Road, Cedar Grove. The cost of the course will includes a copy of the book Equine Emergency Rescue. This is an awareness course being conducted by MaryAnne Leighton. People who want to attend either of the two operational courses by Rebecca Giminez in Qld in November have to complete an awareness course first. LAR Awareness Course
