If you are looking for a gentleman allrounder mount with talent and education, this boy is for you. Kipper has done extensive dressage, currently HRCAV level 1, with laterals, simple changes, counter canter etc. established and training flying changes – will easily go to Advanced level. He is also a talented jumper up to 1m with heaps of scope to go higher. He has been out regularly (pre-COVID) to competitions and adult riding group and is often a favourite amongst instructors as he tries his best to please. He has been ridden in indoors, not phased by mirrors, is currently ridden within 100m of a busy highway. He’s also joined in with 3PE/obstacle sessions, showing and the occasional trail ride. He has been XC schooling but his competition experience is somewhat limited, however it would not take much to get him going in this area. Kipper is a pleasure to catch, shoe, wash, float, lunge/long rein and take out. He has good feet (front shoes on hard/stony ground, otherwise unshod) and a good doer. He doesn’t require working every day; however regular work will see him perform at his best. He is best suited to a confident and competent rider, due to his education level and the occasional ‘TB’ moments (he can also be a bit on the lazy side). He would fit right in with someone wanting to compete at the higher levels – most of the hard work is done for you. I have owned Kip for 6 years now and this is a very sad sale – if I had the time that he deserves he would not be for sale. Good knowledgeable home non-negotiable.
