Welsh C Broodmare with Foal at Foot

Registered Welsh C mare with colt foal at foot. Mare registered with WPCS, foal is eligible. Rockfire Sundance is an 18yo bay Welsh C mare, 12.3hh. Macca was very well performed in her younger years winning supreme champion ridden hunter at the NSW All Welsh. She is a well educated mare, has been used for some pony dressage and has tried her hand at most things with a lot of success. Lovely gaits and a pretty mind blowing extended trot! Macca is now being used as a broodmare, has had 3 healthy foals, very easy breeder. Although purchased as a broodmare for us we have put her back under saddle briefly. She still remembers her education and would be easy to bring back into competitive riding. She is an intelligent pony who is well trained with lots of buttons and as such would require a competent, capable rider. She is a forward moving mare but has a soft mouth and no dirt. Will get hot if sported. As a broodmare she has been easy all the way – easy to get into foal, carried the foal well, foaled down by herself and good with her foal and others. Happy in a paddock with another mare and foal, and just as happy in a large mixed group prior to foaling. Logan is a 4 month old Welsh C colt foal, foaled 10/11/2016. Bay with 2 even white hinds. Out of above mare and by the successful, Bookra Supreme Edition. Well put together, friendly foal, good to handle. Both parents have been very successful in the show ring and are well tempered. We expect Logan to have a very trainable temperament. Selling mare and foal as they find the extreme mosquito population we have here a little unbearable. Mare is fine when rugged and is excellent to rug however we choose not to rug mares while they are feeding and it is too hard on her. They are available in paddock condition which means that her dock is well rubbed as is her mane. $3000 together. If not sold before weaning they will be available separately.
