Second Horse Killed On Adelaide Streets
For a second time this month a horse has been killed and its strapper injured after being struck by a car in suburban Adelaide.
The accident happened around 6.40am Wednesday morning as the strapper was returning from a local beach to the stables after an early morning training session in suburban Semaphore Park. The driver of the car was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries. {sidebar id=3}The 42 year old driver was later arrested by police for drink driving after a recording a blood alchohol reading of 0.24, nearly five times the legal limit.
