12yr Old OTT Gelding with Dressage Training

Serendipity “Ren” is a 12yr old ex racehorse. Born 6 Oct 2008 Race name - Roc the Pac 8wins/8places 65 starts. Last raced 2016 Original owner PJ Gallagher Sire: Rock of Gibraltar (IRL) Dam: Jupiter Moon Sure of Dam: Galileo (IRL) Vendor: Oakwood Farm Sold for $50000 in 2010 “Ren” since track days has had some dressage training and ground work. Ren has done some liberty work and quite a bit of dressage work with his previous owner. He knows how to go on the bit when asked and will do himself in a canter occasionally. Ren has no real vices. He does not bolt but when lunging he may sometimes rear on a rare occasion when he doesn’t understand something. He doesn’t buck but will occasionally jump from side to side and throw his head, again when he is not understanding what is being asked. He hasn’t kicked before nor has he bitten before. He is a very good horse who is a quick learner but needs someone who is able to continue his training and further his education. Would suit an owner interested to further train him. Requires a calm and dedicated owner to keep him calm. Not for beginners. Ren can be a bit unsure during training when getting to know new things and new environments. No food aggression issues (we feed him by himself as we have no other horses). He is a beautiful horse that loves cuddles and a good fuss. All vaccines up to date and due Nov 2021 Wormed and feet done. Vet checked 4 weeks ago. We are only selling as he is more suitable for dressage and my daughter is needing a horse for jumping. We don’t have the time to train him for this. Have many recent videos we can send if requested.
