Deposit taken- no current viewings. Prestigious Knight or Jed as he is more affectionately known, is a handsome 13 year old fully registered Australian WB x TB gelding. Standing at approx 16hh.Jeds main focus has been dressage but he has also been exposed to obstacles, which showed his ride-ability as went over everything with ease.He has also been trail riding, on the water walker, used as a saddle fitting display horse for farm world and unofficial Dressage Comps.He regularly attends ARC and lessons with a dressage coach.HighlightsGreat to catch, float, wash, tie up, work, trim and handle in all ways Easy in groups or by himself, does not get attached to other horses. Good with farm machinery, motorbikes and kids. Excellent for the farrier and dentist. Up to date with worming, feet and teeth. The farrier will often trim him in his paddock. He will stand there with ease without a halter or led rope on. Barefoot with great feet. More woah than go but has the movement if asked. Will need a firm rider if wanting to take him on a full time dressage horse.Comes to you in the paddock wanting pats and a treat.Quirks/The truth Will need a lunge if given long periods without riding.Likes to play in water troughs/bath tubs. He does this on hot days to cool down.Jed would suit an adult rider or experienced youth wanting a horse for trail riding, do obstacles or low level dressage. He loves variety in his work so happy to give his hand to most things.Jed is for sale as I am wanting to step up in dressage and I dont think he wants to be a full time dressage pony. He will take a confident amateur around 90cm and 1m showjumping tracks, and will go higher with the right rider.In 2025, Jack underwent a few months of schooling with us in preparation for Equimillions. He came 2nd in the first round and finished 6th in the open 90cm showjumping. However eventing is where he is most suited as he just takes any jump on with so much confidence. Currently in full work and will continue competing until he is sold.Smartie has done exceptionally well in eventing this year having 7 starts in EvA95 going clear on xc in every one of those starts! He was also selected into inter-school nationals and he performed so well. Smartie is calm to take out, will stay tied to the float all day, performs calmly in all of his dressage tests rarely scoring below at least 65%.Please note!!Selling due to no fault of his own, rider just wants something to take her higher up the levels and unfortunately due to Smartie having a bone chip and surgery in his racing days, he just wont cope at higher than 1* eventing or higher than 110cm showjumping. He has never pulled up lame since his surgery and has gone around many cross country courses, we just wouldnt like to break him by pushing him higher as hes very comfortable around the 95-105 heights.
