Talented Allrounder

ID: 5742

$0.00

  • Breed:Thoroughbred
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:17h 3"
  • Age:11

FOR SALEFour Pillars Tonic is an 11 year old (2014), 17.3h Grey unraced TB gelding by Dash for Cash. Tonic is a genuine allrounder, he has primarily evented up to 2* level but has also done plenty of showjumping to 115/120 and successfully competed at elementary level dressage.Tonic is beautiful to ride on the flat, has big rhythmical warmblood like paces, is very adjustable for a big horse, always catches the eye and scores well at events. He is schooling up to medium level dressage and shows heaps of potential to progress further. Whilst he has been successful eventing the past few years at the higher levels he has his quirks and needs a confident rider to jump which Im happy to discuss with any serious buyers. Tonic is good to ride out alone or in company, has been in a water walker and very well travelled. He is good to float/truck/shoe/clip/catch etc. 100% sound and never had any issues. I would prefer to sell him to a dressage focused/adult riders home as I feel this is where he will really thrive and my only reason for sale. He would best suit a kind, confident and capable rider. Equimillions eligible and very competitive in the OTT classes. Very hard decision as I think the world of this horse so will only be available to the very best of homes. Competitive Performance Mare

ID: 5691

$19,500.00

  • Discipline:Dressage
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:16h 1"
  • Age:14

Competitive and talented mare for eventing/jumping/dressage16.1hh, 14yo mare by Royal Hit.Angie is a talented and beautiful mare with fantastic movement and a lovely, scopey jump. She is easy to work with on the ground, nice to be around, and sound. I absolutely loved every second riding and competing with her and selling her is very difficult for me since she has so much promise to be brilliant, however I am moving to Melbourne, and work and study commitments have made it too difficult to keep such a fantastic horse in the paddock at home. I am selling her in light work and unshod. She has competed lightly at the 95 and 105 level with a few wins and placings. I firmly believe that she has the talent to compete at the FEI levels. On the flat, she is a positive mover with a naturally uphill frame. On XC she is super rangey with lots and lots of gears. She balances very well and can really open up her stride when she needs to. SJ is arguably the phase where she is the most talented, I have literally only had one rail on her in any competition I have ever done. She does not like touching rails, jumps with loads of scope, and is balanced and nimble in the corners. She is not, however, push-button. She is quite a sensitive mare with her share of quirks. She has in the past been a bit nappy and marey at the start of XC and at the start of flatwork sessions. She likes to be warmed up slowly and tactfully; she is in no way a horse you can pull out of the paddock and kick around. This being said, she does not have a malicious bone in her body.I learned a massive amount whilst riding and competing Angie, and the experience was fantastic. I love the horse and all of her quirks; she is opinionated and sophisticated but also rather sweet and a joy to have around

Fresian x Clydesdale

ID: 5733

$15,000.00

  • Breed:Clydesdale
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:15h 3"
  • Age:11

Vaqueiro is a 15.3hh, 11yo Fresian x Clydesdale gelding with a very sweet, puppy dog personality, and a stunning look and presence about him that is straight out of a 18th century film.Vaqueiro is lovely to ride, soft and responsive. He has been on many trail rides, including beach rides, national parks, paddock rides, through town and to the pub.Vaqueiro loves trail riding so I am looking for a home who is predominantly interested in this, however he would be great at some low level shows with training in those specific areas. He was started and trained in full by Free Rein Horsemanship using positive reinforcement and other kind training methods, focusing on self-regulation and two-way communication. He has 3 lovely paces and can stop on a dime with just a shift in weight. He can be ridden with a bit or bitless and has been trained to ground drive in harness.Vaqueiro has excellent hooves which maintain themselves well between trims. He is a good do-er and has no itch, no scars or any previous issues or injuries. Vaqueiro is suited to an intermediate to advanced rider, to avoid training bad behaviours. He is very intelligent, so he would easily progress or regress, depending on his rider. However he can be ridden by novice riders under competent supervision. This gorgeous boy is an absolute pleasure and such a stunning horse who turns heads wherever he goes. If you are interested in Vaqueiro, please message me with information about yourself, your experience and what you're looking for so I can give you an idea on whether you would be a good match.Video available

She has a real in-your-pocket Labrador temperament and will happily stand all day for attention.Broken in at 4 years old (happy to answer any questions about her start), she was then spelled until 6. Since then, shes been ridden intermittently with fortnightly to monthly trail rides. Nilton Prince of Persia

ID: 5713

$0.00

  • Breed:Welsh
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:13h "
  • Age:11

Sadly, Prince is ready to find a new , with a rider a bit smaller than me! Nilton Prince of Persia is an 11yo 13h part welsh gelding, registered WPCSA and EA. I bought Prince from his breeder as a 3yo with the intention of him being a project pony, but the years passed and I could never bring myself to sell him! Alas, the time has come for him to find his new person where he will be their number 1. Prince was started under saddle following the Warwick Schiller horsemanship principles, his subsequent training has been focused on dressage. He hasnt had heaps of competition outings as I was always focused on my bigger pony, however he has had no trouble scoring over 70% in EA preliminary, HRCAV level 2&3 with plenty of test wins and championship wins as well. He was also very successful at his first show (I presented him as a hunter but perhaps he is more open pony )Prince has exceptional paces, showing lift, push and ground cover in all 3 paces, his trot is a real highlight with plenty of scope, lovely cadence and swing. He is low maintenance and very easy to have around which is why he has stayed for so long , good to catch, trim, clip, float etc. Used to motorbikes, tractors, power tools etc Prince is looking for a petite, kind and capable rider who can enjoy what a willing, forward moving responsive pony has to offer. Not for beginners or nervous riders. Would make a super interschool pony and would equally be as happy just riding at home or around the farm. Has done trail riding and showed good ability to see a stride for jumping but thats not my thing so he hasnt done much of it. Up to date with all his appointments, has had regular farrier, dentist, massage, saddle fit, worming, balanced diet etc. Happy to chat about suitability as he wont be sold to just anyone. He is only available to the right home and rider, very difficult decision so no time wasters please. 1x,xxx. Low five figures
